It is an innovative thermo-insulating cushion system produced with recycled and pressed paper. It provides an excellent thermal insulation and guarantees an inside temperature up to 48 hours; it absorbs moisture and condensation of the products. Finally, it protects the products inside and reduces damage caused by the movement during the transport.

PALLETS

In order to guarantee a proper protection and stability of
each package weighing more than 70 kg, they must always be placed on pallets.
Since pallets consist of several packages, it is necessary to create a structure
which guarantees their solidity, ease of transport and safety for the goods and
the people who have to move them.

How to pack goods inside a box:

• Boxes should be rigid and in good condition.

• Use solid, intact packaging with all flaps intact.

• Used boxes are not recommended because they are less resistant. In the case of used packaging, remove labels, bar codes and check that the box has no holes or is not damaged.

• Avoid empty spaces: in case of stacked packages, padding reduces the strength of the package. Avoid boxes larger than their contents, as they can be crushed.

• In case of fragile items, use a small box and place it in a larger box, using padding both inside and outside. Or use mouldable foam pads to protect the contents.

• Outer containers made of corrugated cardboard should be sealed with three 5 cm wide strips of tape on the bottom and top of the cardboard and by forming the letter h with the tape.

PROPER PACKAGING

For the safety of the goods and people working in the warehouse, we inform you that: if a shipment is not properly packed, it cannot be accepted by our partners for collection and must be checked by our staff before shipment.

You will be contacted if the shipment is not considered suitable.

It is our goal that our customers’ parcels are delivered on time and in perfect condition.

USE APPROPRIATE BOXES

Avoid boxes that are too large for their contents, in case of overlapping packages.

Too much cushioning reduces the robustness of the packaging, also avoid boxes that are too heavy, they must be manually handled by a single person.

Always remove old labels, put new labels on top so that the barcode is flat and not folded along the edge.

No overhang: items must perfectly fit inside the pallet without protruding over the edge. The goods must be adequately protected by wrapping film.

Make sure it is flat: a flat top surface makes the assembly strong. Non-stackable pallets are subject to surcharges.

HANDLING

Heavy, bulky or non-standard shaped shipments may have the Special Handling/Non-Stacking surcharge:

Packages with fragile/not stackable lettering.

Heavy, bulky or non-standard shape shipments.

Shipments over 30 kilograms (actual/volumetric) should be transported on pallets but exceed the maximum weight or dimensions.

Shipments with packages of less than 30 kg, which are too large for automated rollers or which are cylindrical or tubular in shape and require manual handling.

Consignments or pallets which, due to their shape and packaging, do not overlap with other.

SAFE PACKAGING

Stable boxes for shipping 0.7-1 litre wine/sparkling wine bottles. Available in several variants for the safe transport of different quantities of bottles. Thanks to the special design, the bottles are individually packaged and additionally protected by the carton.
